As soon as a new call is detected, ContactsLaw performs a reverse-lookup of the
contact by matching the caller ID from the call to the list of stored telephone numbers for the contact. If it finds a match, it reports this contact as being the caller. Using information about your location, it will attempt to match the telephone number against various forms; local, domestic, international, etc - so there is no reliance on how the telephone number was entered into the system.
Additionally, if the caller contact has only one active
matter, ContactsLaw will add this to the
telephone journal.
